About the Business and the role

Nurture Family Health Centre is looking for a General Practitioner to join our wonderful team of existing Practitioners. Nurture provides a multi-disciplinary approach by combing Medical and Allied health services under the same roof. We pre-predominately treat families, and young children, from antenatal care, including NDIS clients, young and not so young.

The successful General Practitioner will have the benefit of working with our team of Allied Health care providers including Women's and Men's health physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian, Chiropractors, midwife, Psychologist.

The General Practitioner will have full nursing support from our practice nurse.

Job tasks and responsibilities of GP

The successful applicant will be:

Required to treat a variety of problems seen in General practice.

Required to perform childhood Immunisations and other Vaccinations

Women's Health

Men's Health

Skills and experience of GP

The successful applicant must have:

Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)

Fully registered with The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), hold Vocational Registration

Eligible for Medicare Provider Number

Speak fluent English

Own indemnity Insurance

Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Permanent residency desirable

Nurture is a multidisciplinary team with focus on patient centred care, we are seeking a registered dietitian to join our amazing team of Allied Health, GP’s and administration staff. You would be joining a well-established clinic, with private, ADF and NDIS clientele.

Qualifications and Skills required:

1. Must be qualified to practice as a Dietitian in Australia, as recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia

2. Blue card / Yellow card

3. Professional indemnity Insurance

4. Own ABN number
